We’re currently hiring on behalf of our partner - a fast-growing field and technical services provider in the B2B space, focused on vending, POS systems, and coin-operated machine solutions. To support their continued expansion, they are seeking a Field Operations Manager based in Chicago, Illinois, to oversee day-to-day field operations and lead a regional team.

This role is a great fit for someone with a strong background in B2B sales and services, particularly to street-level retail businesses. If you’re technically minded, skilled in inventory and operations management, and great at building trust with small business owners—this could be your next big opportunity.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of field service technicians and sales reps across the Chicago area

  • Oversee client services and support for existing business accounts

  • Recruit, train, and manage field staff while ensuring adherence to company procedures

  • Conduct location audits for service quality, stock/inventory, and marketing compliance

  • Collaborate with internal departments—sales, support, and collections—to boost operational efficiency

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local business owners and service partners

  • Track and improve KPIs, team performance, and customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of product hardware and software

  • Analyze performance data and prepare regular reports for leadership

  • Answer and resolve escalated customer inquiries via phone and chat

  • Maintain detailed logs and updates within the company CRM

  • Manage warehouse stock control and purchasing


Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (work-related gas, tolls, and parking fully reimbursed)

  • Previous experience managing field service or technical teams

  • Experience working with street-level retail or service-based small businesses

  • Strong technical skills, especially with CRM tools and mobile-based applications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
